Nashville, TN: More than 600 contractors to FedEx Ground and business partners convened in Nashville, Tennessee last week for the 2019 Contractor Expo + Party hosted by Route Consultant. The September 13 event featured industry-specific presentations, display booths, and networking opportunities.
It was the largest independent gathering of contractors to FedEx Ground this year. The presentations and content focused heavily on recent industry changes including seven day operations, the large package network, and SmartPost.
Spencer Patton, Founder and President of Route Consultant, said:
“The entire vision for Contractor Expo 2019—in its inaugural year—was to create a community of contractors to FedEx Ground. We were simply blown away by the outpouring of support from contractors that came to Nashville from all 50 states and Canada. We had over 600 contractors show up between 10:00am and midnight! Our community is here to find ways to be safer, smarter, and, ultimately, more profitable.”
Contractor Expo + Party 2019 concluded with a dinner, open bar, and live music performances featuring Rubiks Groove and an Elvis impersonator played by Nashville-based Chuck Baril.
