September 16, 2019

Spencer Patton, Founder + President, Route Consultant,

Nashville, TN: More than 600 contractors to FedEx Ground and business partners convened in Nashville, Tennessee last week for the 2019 Contractor Expo + Party hosted by Route Consultant. The September 13 event featured industry-specific presentations, display booths, and networking opportunities.

It was the largest independent gathering of contractors to FedEx Ground this year. The presentations and content focused heavily on recent industry changes including seven day operations, the large package network, and SmartPost.

Spencer Patton, Founder and President of Route Consultant, said:

“The entire vision for Contractor Expo 2019—in its inaugural year—was to create a community of contractors to FedEx Ground. We were simply blown away by the outpouring of support from contractors that came to Nashville from all 50 states and Canada. We had over 600 contractors show up between 10:00am and midnight! Our community is here to find ways to be safer, smarter, and, ultimately, more profitable.”

Contractor Expo + Party 2019 concluded with a dinner, open bar, and live music performances featuring Rubiks Groove and an Elvis impersonator played by Nashville-based Chuck Baril.

Route Consultants Celebrates a Record-Breaking 2018

January 28, 2019

Spencer Patton, Founder + President, Route Consultant,

Nashville, TN: Route Consultant has continued its track record of robust success—more than tripling its revenues in 2018 versus the prior year. Route Consultant is forecast to do over $30 million in transactional volume in FY 2019.

Route Consultant is now accepting new listings for FY 2019 from contractors in all 50 States and Canada.

Owning FedEx Ground routes, from a contractor’s perspective, offers a business model that few other industries can compete with. Owning a FedEx Ground contract means owning a business with no sales force, marketing expenses, research and development costs, investment, accounts receivable, or bad debt. Additionally, contractors are able to leverage the brand strength of FedEx Ground while taking advantage of the substantial depreciation and tax benefits to ownership.
