The Largest Independent Gathering of FedEx Ground Contractors This Year is Almost here
We are in the final countdown to Contractor Expo 2019. Please remember you must RSVP to attend.
1) This is a Content-Packed, Zero Fluff Event
The length and width of this day is packed with learning opportunities aimed at helping contractors run more efficient, smarter, and safer businesses.
Have you seen the Contractor Expo + Party 2019 Schedule yet? Presentation topics include,
Top Considerations for Selecting the Right STAR V P&D Scanner Solution
Driver Recruitment, Retention, and Development Strategies that Work
Cutting Edge Fleet Strategies
The Future Landscape of Final-Mile Package Delivery
These are conversations you want to be apart of!
2) Learn and Network with Season Professionals
We created this Expo because our team felt as if there was a dire need in the industry for more collaboration. We want to provide opportunities for us all to connect and learn from one another. It is our strong belief that a rising tide lifts all boats and that it is important that we as contractors share best practices with each other to make our businesses as profitable as possible.
We are expecting hundreds of FedEx Ground P&D and linehaul contractors from across the United States to convene in Nashville next week.
The Expo intentionally carves out time and space for you to connect with fellow contractors. Come learn how others are preparing for seven day operations, the large package network, and SmartPost. Take advantage of the many seasoned professionals in attendance: introduce yourself, ask questions, and follow up.
3) Partnerships and Opportunities Tailored to You
We are thrilled with the 40+ sponsors that will join us in Nashville for this Expo. We vetted each sponsor to ensure they have a specific solution or offer tailored to FedEx Ground contractors. Our vendors worked intensely with our team to prepare the most helpful materials, content, and experiences for you at Contractor Expo.
Even more rewarding: this event gives you the opportunity to talk with partners in the same space. For example, Peak-Ryzex Star V options deliver VEDR and telematics through a strategic partnership with GroundCloud. Want to know more about how that works? You can ask them both—they have booths right next to each other in our display hall.
Similarly, Marsh partnered with Bush Trucks to bring you exclusive offers. Want to know more about those? You can ask both companies in person at the Expo.
This is your opportunity to leverage relationships and to get to know vendor teams face-to-face.
4) Learn What Your Business is Worth
As we talked with contractors across the country this year, we heard the same question over and over: What’s my business worth?
Over the years we have analyzed the financials and operations of hundreds of FedEx Ground Contractors. We have also successfully purchased and sold many of these businesses through our brokerage
At the Expo you can come learn from Route Consultant's Vice President, Annalee Mueck, about how to value your business and how to start adding value to your investment immediately.
5) Nationally-Recognized “Black Hawk Down” Army Ranger to Deliver the Keynote
In the summer of 1993 Staff Sergeant Keni Thomas was deployed to Mogadishu Somalia with the 3rd Ranger Battalion as part of an elite special operations package called Task Force Ranger. Their mission was to find and capture a criminal warlord named Mohammed Farrah Aidid. On the 3rd of October, Keni and his fellow rangers distinguished themselves in an eighteen hour fire-fight that would later be recounted in the highly successful book and movie "Black Hawk Down". Nineteen Americans gave their lives and 78 were wounded in the worst urban combat seen by US troops since WWII.
After Mogadishu, Staff Sergeant Thomas volunteered for one more enlistment in the Army. He now works full-time as an award winning country music recording artist and songwriter in Nashville. The bronze star for valor recipient will speak to our Expo about leadership and service. His keynote address is titled What It Means to Lead the Way.
6) Come to Learn, Leave with Giveaways
As informative as the entire day will be, it is also going to be fantastic fun! You will receive a raffle ball at registration and we will be announcing raffle winners throughout the Expo. We also know that many of our generous sponsors are hosting raffles at their booth so be sure to visit as many as possible.
Wondering about the giveaways? We can’t spill all the beans, but we know the following items are going home with Expo attendees:
Bose Frames Audio Sunglasses with Bluetooth Connectivity
Apple Smart Watch Series 4
A Guitar Autographed by Trace Adkins
Visa Gift Cards
Free Profitability Consulting Sessions (Worth $5,000)
Dinner for 2 at The Palm Restaurant
7) Contractor Expo + Party Entertainment
Our open bar kicks off at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner, and then a concert to remember! Come and enjoy your Friday night with us. You can expect an interactive, live music experience to ring in your weekend.
And rumor has it Elvis might make an appearance in Nashville that night.
8) You Will Be in the Heart of Music City
We are hosting Contractor Expo right in the middle of downtown Nashville, at the Music City Center. Friday is a packed day of learning and fun, but we hope you’ll take some extra time before or after to enjoy the Southern hospitality our city has to offer.
Once you step outside of the Music City Center you will be walking distance to The Ryman Auditorium, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Hatch Show Print, and Broadway’s famous honky tonks. Need help planning your trip? We recommend using Nashville Guru to find the latest and greatest food and events.
Still Have Questions?
We want you to be excited about this opportunity to come and learn. Let us help make it a personalized, seamless experience. If you have questions about Contractor Expo, please connect with our team directly. We are thrilled to help you make this a reality!
